About Us

The Willoughby-Eastlake City School District opened the School of Innovation in the fall of 2015.  What started as a grades 3-5 school of 225 students has now grown into a grade 3-8 school of 450 students. The School of Innovation provides students with hands-on, project-based experiences that integrate science, technology, engineering, and math across the curriculum. With a focus on problem-solving and innovation, students are empowered to think critically, work in teams, and explore real-world challenges in a supportive and future-focused environment.

The School of Innovation is founded on STEM principles.  To learn more about our WHY, click on the videos below.
